Art Project
Originally titled 'Pose06'. Too bad I didn't save this image in a higher
resolution; I lost a lot of details when it was scanned in long time ago. It made things a little difficult especially
when I was coloring in the hair. I had a very primitive scanner at that time. Actually, if you consider the time being
present back then then it would be top of the line of it's century.
This project took me a total of 5-6 hours to complete because my creative mind went on into overdrive. Examples being that
I had colored the eyes three different shades of brown, green, and even black. Her outfit started out as a white tank top
and a pair of blue jeans, but with some fiddling around with my paint brush and inspiration from television commercials, it
soon turned out into a Star-Search shirt (that name just came to mind, not intended as a tongue twister) and a pair of leather
pants?!?!? or pleather??? Have a good look at Pose06.gif for yourself.
Does the pants look like they could be leather material? Well, that was what I was trying to go for. I'll get a still
image up soon if the lights are too annoying.
I had a sudden urge to make it look like she was on stage or a dance floor, so, I added the lights to the background. Then,
my creative over-kill side of me said "HEY! Let's make the lights flash!!" It took me another half-an-hour to an hour of work
trying to figure out how to make the lights move from the back to the front. Finally finished.
Web Project
New web layout. I worked on this layout while I was creating the logo design. It's plain and simple. Not as complicated as my old design.
It definitely has a few draw backs, less artsy and graphicy, but it's a lot cleaner.
Art Project
Originally titled 'Untitled05', under the Untitled Sketches. In the
original picture there was a guy in the background holding a bow and arrow but I deleted him from this coloring; I figured that
it was going to be too difficult to touch up and color in. The original drawing was done on a small piece of paper, measuring at 5x8 inches,
so, the details were loss with my scribbling.
The finished product Untitled05-01 originally didn't have the tatoo. I was trying to
create a logo that I was going to use to represent Spryte Design and came up with this thing. I thought "Wow, this would look cool as a tatoo."
So, I shrank it and placed it on her shoulder. Now, when I look at it, I don't really like it. What do you think?
After I finished with that I continued work on a logo. I came out with this Spryte Logo. It's
not that fancy but it'll do for now.
Got a better logo idea for Spryte Design ??? Send them to me at sprytedesign@hotmail.com
Which one will be the official Spryte Design logo???
Art Project
Alright another project done!!! Mongirlcolor took me about three hours of work
to finish but the final result is looking pretty darn good. Originally this image started out as Untitled06.
After my hard work and some reminiscing, I titled it "Mongirl"; meaning Monster and Girl. I just shortened the title to Mongirl to
make it more easier to publish to the site.
I wanted to add some texture to the skin of the monster.
So, I started messing around with the filters on Photoshop and came up with this scale like skin using the "Stained Glass" filter;
I really like the outcome of it. I also like how the kimono dress came out on the girl. What do you think?
STRESSED and DEPRESSED
Damn this thing!!! This girl got me into soo much trouble. Why do I still put up with her?
This mess she got me into. *sigh* When will it be done with?
I can't wait till it's over. I need
to move on with my life. Theres no time to waste my life away.
Art Project
Colored in my profile picture today, Cartoonme_c, to get my mind off of my depressing and sad soul. This one took a little
longer to color in than Anguishcolor. Because I put every
color in a separate layer. I don't really know whether the colors I chose works well together. The coloring of the sketch
itself took about two hours and I made the background in five minutes. The background looks better than the picture itself.
;)
Web Project
I've been working on a new weblayout called "Paper". It's based on a piece of writing paper and a school desk.
I created the wood desktop from Adobe Photoshop already; it looks amazing. I created the "Paper" with a piece of
paper that I had written out the layout on. My idea seemed good, as I pictured the whole design in my head, but
once on paper it looked a little raw.
Back to the drawing board. A little embarassed to show the layout.
Art Project
I woke up this morning and opened up an old drawing from my Art Projects folder in my Art folder under My Documents.
It was titled "Anguish", but if you look in my Art Gallery, here at the site, it is titled Untitled07.
As I was staring at it, I thought to myself "Hmmm, it looks kinda plain." So, I decided to work on it by adding colors and graphics.
I finally completed the coloring in one hour. I found no difficulties coloring the sketch in but soon I ran into a brick wall.
I wanted to do some lighting effects on the picture but couldn't get the rendering quite the way I wanted it to be.
Any ways here let's not get into too much details. Here is the plain colored sketch Anguishcolor and
here is the light rendered sketch Anguishcolor0.
I have been working on "Fade" for the past week. I got the main characters down but haven't got the name for
the killer character. I have named the detective "Jet". Basically the story revolves around these two.
I've been thinking about the story and haven't put everything down on paper yet. It seems like everytime I sit
down to type up the story it keeps on changing. I think I need to tape record my thoughts.
Not only that but there are also too many perspectives that I can sketch out of one scene. I bog myself
down when I change an idea.
Finally finished with this theme for my website and finally launched today.
I've been working on this theme for the past two weeks. In actuallity, it's been more than three months
because I've been busy at work. (Also, I've found other things to do that's more enjoyable. ;p )
There are still lots of work to do. As you can see, I need to put up other pages, upload some of my
newer sketches, and I also need to scan up more pictures.
